Jason J.

Jason (who goes by the moniker of Jay Jay) is a Denver based professional fire spinner specializing in dragon staff, double staffs, and palm torches. Out of the plethora of artistic mediums in the world, fire and prop manipulation have proven to be where Jason finds he is able to express himself to the fullest extent. He picked up his first prop 4 years ago, and has taken a deep dive into the world of performance since then. He has experience performing with fire at a variety of music and arts festivals, beach front resorts, and private parties not only here in the US, but also in Mexico and Costa Rica.

Since starting his performance career, he has taught many prop and fire manipulation classes with a focus on fire safety and dragon staff technique.

Though his day job is bartending, he also dedicates his time to running a music and arts collective called Ze Fuss, and now this entertainment company, Solis. Ze Fuss curates immersive pop-up events at different unique locations with the goal of showcasing all the different artistic mediums Denver locals have to offer- from DJs and producers  to flow and fire artists, painters, and many more. Bringing the community together to dance, appreciate the arts, and build each other up is where his heart lies. That, and of course, slinging flames with his fire performance family.
