Annika K.

Annika Ketchum, also known as Hoop Bae, is a Denver CO based Fire performer. Her props of choice are hoop of course, double fire staff, palm torches and fire fans. She also has experience with fire eating torches. 

Annika started her fire journey in 2022, but she has been expanding her flow arts skills since 2019. Her first prop was hula hoop and then she gradually progressed to other forms of flow arts.

To describe her flow, it is fast paced and full of both on body and off body movements. She experiments with all sorts of shapes and technique to provide her audience with an entertaining and energetic performance. 

Outside of pursuing her passion for flowarts - she works as a financial sales supervisor. At home, she is a mother to one big fatty cat named Ham, who she loves more than anything.
